Briefing Windows 7

Windows 7 is the latest version of Microsoft Windows and is more like a tweaked version of the earlier version Windows Vista. Windows 7 looks, behaves, and performs almost exactly like Windows Vista but with more improved performance and has tried to overcome all the shortcomings of Vista. Windows 7 is a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal Desktop computers, including Home and Business Desktops, Laptops, Net books, Tablet PCs, and Media center PCs. Windows 7 was released to manufacturing on July 22, 2009, and reached general retail availability on October 22, 2009.  Windows 7 is released after less than three years from the release of Windows Vista.

The New Windows 7

Windows Vista was introduced with a large number of new features. Windows 7 was introduced with a view to be a more focused, with the aim of being fully compatible self sufficient with applications and hardware with which Windows Vista is already compatible. Wndows 7 is loaded with a new taskbar now called Superbar. It has a home networking system Home Group. It is not loaded with Windows Calender, Windows Mail, Windows Movie Maker, Photo Gallery, but they are available separately as a part of Windows Live Essentials suite.

Minimum hardware requirements for Windows 7 are –

For 32 bit Architecture – 1 GHz 32-bit processor, 1 GB of RAM, DirectX 9 graphics processor with WDDM driver model 1.0 (For Aero), 16 GB of available disk space, DVD drive (only to install from DVD/CD Media).

For 64 bit Architecture – 1 GHz 64-bit processor, 2 GB of RAM, DirectX 9 graphics processor with WDDM driver model 1.0 (For Aero), 20 GB of available disk space, DVD drive (only to install from DVD/CD Media)

The Key features of Windows 7 are briefed here –

1. Get quicker access to all of your stuff & Quickly find what you’re looking for

2. Manage open windows more easily & Share files and printers among multiple PCs

3. Stay entertained effortlessly & Easily create and share movies

3. Connect to networks easily & Do more and wait less

4. Don’t leave programs behind & Offers your PC better protection

Ten reasons for Vista users to get in love with Windows 7 and get upgraded –

1. User Account Control has become more user friendly and is now more easy to access things and utilities. By removing the number of unnecessary and redundant UAC(User Account Control) dialogs, making the prompts more informative, and providing users with more control over UAC. Windows 7 maintains many of the benefits of the feature without disturbing the users’ computing life and end up user frustrations.

2. Explorer in Windows 7 is no longer a pane in the behind. In Windows 7, the navigation pane stays still, so you no longer risk getting freedom from all the swaying back and forth of the navigation pane.

3. Windows 7 has added support for multiple heterogeneous graphics cards from different vendors and manufacturers. Now this probably doesn’t mean you can use a combination of  ATI and NVIDIA cards in an SLI-configuration, but it means we can have our multi-vendor multi-monitor setups.

4. Microsoft has removed a number of the extra programs and now offers them as free downloads from the Windows Live Web site. In this way, those who want them can have them, and those who don’t want them they won’t have to take them as a burden and have troubles removing them.

5. The main goal for Windows 7 is a 15-second boot time, whereas three quarters of Vista users report boot times of more than 30 seconds. It might be possible that many users of Win7 may not have achieved the 15-second mark yet, but still it’s substantially quicker than Vista on the same hardware.

6. Windows 7 permits you to customize your computing need by simply clicking the little arrow next to the tray and selecting Customize. In the dialog box, choose which icons you want to appear in the tray. For each application, you can select whether you want to display notifications or hide them.

7. In Windows 7, all the security features have been confined into one icon. When you click it, you’ll see all messages related to firewall, Windows Defender, Windows Update settings etc.

8. Windows 7 has a brand new feature by which you can drag windows to each side of the screen and they will automatically size themselves to each take up half the screen when you are ready with the cursor.

9. Home Group in Windows 7 allows all Windows 7 computers on a network to share files, printers, and other resources very easily. It is made possible by the  Libraries (collections of certain types of files, such as music, photos, or documents), you can access files anywhere on the Home Group network as if they were stored locally, and you can search anything if available on the whole Home Group network.

10. In Windows 7, the Taskbar preview feature has been improved so that it becomes a more useful function than it was in Vista. Now when you hover over a taskbar icon, you can get actual previews that are placed side by side and are sufficient enough for you to identify your program.

One of the most hideous PC errors is BSOD which is also commonly known as the “Blue Screen of Death” and as the name suggests it is associated with death, which is the last thing in the world anyone would like. You have every reason to be afraid of the moment when you encounter this Blue Screen of Death on your monitor.

It makes the face of your monitor all blue and sends you warnings through the white hexadecimal codes asking you to do lots of things in a language that is foreign to you. You feel absolutely helpless in the situation at this Windows stop message where your OS is telling you that it is not capable of handling one of the errors on its own. As if the HIV infection has finally succeeded in causing AIDS and you can do nothing except waiting for your systems death.

You see the blue screen only when your operating system finally decides to give up and displays the diagnosis of its sudden halt in blue and white. If you had a time machine you could actually go in the past and trace several reasons to find out why your system encountered BSOD. It is not one of the regular or common PC errors and it happens only in rarest situation. So you must not take it serious.

Causes of BSOD

1. Data errors due to abrupt power loss

2. Malicious operation of virus, spyware or adware and

3. DLL errors

Out of all the possibilities listed above the DLL errors are most common PC errors leading your system to BSOD. So one needs to act wisely and get their computer inspected at regular intervals to avoid the serious situations like coming face to face with BSOD in future.

DLL which is an abbreviation used for Downloadable Link Libraries contains shared information allowing several tasks to perform in the computer. DLL errors occur when DLL files are moved, altered or deleted. The DLL errors also have potential to prevent your PC from seamless booting.

Causes of DLL Errors

They occur if one of the DLL file gets deleted during uninstall process of any application. Overwriting on the existing DLL file while upgrading one of the drivers, software defects due to pirated versions, problems in system registry can also cause these PC errors. Change in BIOS settings, low disk space and insufficient RAM can also cause these errors.

SOLUTIONS Of BSOD Errors: -

In terms of how to fix the Blue Screen of Death, there is no simple answer to that. Sometimes this problem will go away with a simple reboot and you may never see the blue screen again.

But here are the steps you can follow to prevent more blue screen error:

1. If you have added any new hardware devices or peripherals to your system recently, power off the computer and remove them, then attempt to boot again normally.

2. Over time, the registry of your windows gets cluttered with tons of information. Try fixing errors in yours system registry. Errors fixed in your registry can also prevent Blue screen error crashes.

3. Another possibility is some new software installation result in malicious state of your operating system. Sometimes, there is a conflict in drivers installed on your computer that causes the blue screen error to pop up. Uninstall any programs that you had installed recently. And restart your computer in a normal mode.

4. When the Random Access Memory is faulty, the PC stops functioning every time that area of the RAM is accessed by the CPU. This causes your PC to halt almost at Random. A simple process of elimination is just to replace the RAM and check whether it works.

5. If nothing result try system restore utility. When running your system in safe mode, you can still access all the recent restore points created by the system restore utility. Run your system from the last known ‘good configuration’. On the other hand, if you know a recent software installation is the cause, then restore to the point created at that date.

I hope these steps will prove beneficial to you in solving your blue screen errors.

Your have just five minutes left for bidding an item on a shopping website. You have the chance of getting the item on less than half of its original price. You click on the item to open the bidding page. Then you click on the bidding option button to quote your rate. But the message comes and says that the time is up. What needed less than a minute or two took more than five minutes. Frustrated! You have lost the golden chance of getting the item. So it is the time that you fix your slow PC.

Space available in the hard disk is one of the main concerns regarding slow PC. We search for different software on web to make our working easy. We keep overloading our hard disk by frequent downloads. Also running this software online requires temporary files to be downloaded in the Windows (or Winnt) folders in the C drive.

You can free lot of your hard drive space by manually deleting the temp files from the windows folder. Make use of partition available in the hard disk. Don’t put much load on the main drive which is usually the C drive.

Also when we delete programs the particular blocks in the memory of the hard disk gets empty. So when we store any new file it takes time to find the free spaces available in the disk. This can be rectified by “Disk Clean Up” facility that is available in the System Tools. From Start Menu select Programs and go to Accessories and select the System Tools.

You can also use “Disk Defragmenter” so that the data in the blocks of memory can be arranged. So saving a new file will require comparatively less time. Also it removes the corrupted blocks from the memory making more space in hard drive to boost the operating speed of your slow PC.

Data amounts and server performance have rapidly increased. That is why the business enterprises and I.T industry need more durable, powerful and high capacity storage solutions to handle the pressure of greater data volumes. In-time availability of data plays an important role in competing efficiently in the market.

Advanced intelligent tape (AIT) media format’s cost efficient solutions allow the clients to archive and record data with greater precision and reliability at a lower cost. AIT tape technology was engineered to handle the needs of data intensive applications and demanding data centers. Sony has utilized its technical expertise to develop AIT-4 internal tape drive that can write 200GB native data per AIT-4 tape cartridge. The tape drives uses SCSI interface.

Highly reliable Sony AIT-4 format uses ALDC compression mechanism at 2.6:1. Sony AIT 4 tape cartridges are SDX4200WWW, SDX4200CWW and SDX4-200C. Compressed capacity of these AIT-4 tapes is 520 GB. This Sony AIT4 drive can not only write/read the fourth generation AIT tape cartridges, but is can read the AIT-1 & AIT-2 media tapes and read/write the AIT-3 media. Part numbers of the read compatible AIT2 and AIT-1 tapes are:

Sony SDX2-36C, AIT-2 data tape
Sony SDX2-50C, AIT2 tape cartridge
Sony SDX2-50W, AIT-2 backup tape
Sony SDX2-50WA, AIT 2 media tape
Sony 10SDX250CBA, AIT2 media tape
Sony SDX1-25C, AIT-1 backup tape
Sony SDX1-35C, AIT-1 backup tape
Part numbers of the write and read compatible AIT3 tapes are:
Sony SDX3-100C, AIT-3 tape
Sony SDX3-100W, AIT3 tape

In compressed form, the Sony AIT-4 SCSI drive can backup 393 GB in an hour at speed of 62.4MB/s. In uncompressed form, the drive offer 24 Mbps data rate which enables it to record 151 GB data in an hour. Sony AIT4 internal SCSI drive supports the powerful WORM feature. WORM feature is available in the SDX4200WWW Sony cartridge. WORM technology was developed to prohibit data deletions and alterations. Sony AIT-4 drive has a slot dust cover that protects the drive from environmental contaminants. Sony AIT-4 SCSI drive offers enhanced capacity and greater performance in a smaller form factor.

Helical scan recording system has been employed in the Sony AIT4 drive. In this recording system the head is placed at a tilted angle that allows it to write data tracks on the tape edges. Helical scan increases the performance of AIT-4 tape drive during high density recordings, which leads to increased efficiency and lower media costs. AIT4 tape format enables the clients to accommodate greater volumes of information on smaller amount of media tape reel. In order to assure accurate tape path, Sony has included ATF (auto tracking following) mechanism in its AIT4 internal SCSI drive. This new mechanism provides self-adjusting, closed loop path that helps in highly precise media tape tracking.

High performance Sony AIT4 drive closely packs the data. This allows the tape drive to deliver unparalleled performance during high density recordings. Unique servo tracking technology of Sony AIT-4 internal drive helps in making adjustments to the tape media to avoid any kind of tape fluttering.

Over the past 2 to 3 decades, the world has transformed into a more intelligent, interconnected and instrumented environment. The volume of data is doubling after every 1 to 2 years. Therefore the organizations strive to adopt new backup storage systems that allow them to record, archive and extract the recorded data more cost effectively, while driving down their I.T budgets.

LTO (linear tape open) is a well renowned, reliable, cost effective and intelligent tape storage format. LTO has been the top choice of the users since its introduction to the market, which was in the late 1990s. Four generations of LTO tape technology have been introduced so far. The latest generation of LTO that has hit the data storage market is the 5th generation LTO-5 format.

IBM has a vast experience and technical knowledge of manufacturing data storage products. IBM has engineered TS2350 LTO-5 tape drive which belongs to the IBM’s Express System Storage drive family. Cost efficient data storage performance, space reduction, and lower power consumption of IBM TS2350 LTO-5 tape drive helps the enterprises to reduce their I.T costs. IBM TS2350 LTO-5 drive has been developed to address the archiving requirements of most demanding environments. IBM LTO 5 tape cartridge’s manufacturer part number is 46X1290. With LTO-5 tape, you can store double the amount of data as of previous LTO-4 ultrium tapes. IBM 46X1290, LTO5 cartridge provides greater recording capacity of 1.5TB / 3TB.

Unique media partitioning feature has been incorporated in the high speed IBM LTO5 drive, which allows the data administrators to perform media partitioning and create 2 partitions on LTO5 data tapes. Media partitioning helps the LTO-5 TS2350 express drive to efficiently access the smaller data sections on the tape medium. Exclusive long-term file system of IBM LTO5 tape drive allows the IT managers to interchange the information between different platforms. Like all the other LTO drives of previous generations, IBM LTO-5 TS2350 drive also features the cost saving backward compatibility. Data can be recorded and read from the LTO-4 tape by the IBM TS2350 drive. LTO5 TS2350 drive can only read the LTO3 media. I have mentioned below few of the major OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) of LTO-5 media tapes:

Maxell 229323, LTO5 tape
Imation 27672, LTO-5 cartridge
Fuji 16008030, LTO 5 media tape
Sony LTX1500G, LTO5 ultrium tape
HP C7975A, LTO-5 data tape
Quantum MR-L5MQN-01, LTO 5 ultrium backup tape

TS2350 IBM drive is best suited for network servers, departmental backups, busy data centers and remote offices. IBM LTO5 TS2350 drive has inherited the WORM and data encryption technologies of the LTO4 tape media. Advanced features enable the IBM LTO-5 TS2350 drive to efficiently and economically handle the increasing storage demands. The drive supports the leading ISV application and operating systems. IBM LTO-5 tape technology helps to lower the I.T budgets and enables you to record more amounts of data on fewer cartridges. This will save you more amount of space and ultimately will require lesser tape handling and human interventions. IBM LTO-5 TS2350 drive is robustly engineered to secure your IT investments and provide long term protection.

All over the globe, we see that enormous research work is being done in the fields of science & technology. This results in creation of massive amounts of new information which are then added to the mainstream data on daily and hourly basis. The business enterprises also have to store and manage their financial data, statistical data, sales record and other critical data. Business enterprises are forced to obey and follow the strict rules of data retention laws. These strict laws have increased the demand for a dependable storage medium that can provided protection and security to the data for a longer time period.

There are many different tape storage technologies available in the market, but the most cost efficient tape technology that I have found is the Sony DLT-VS1 tape technology. Sony DLT-VS1 tape format is ideal for mid-range servers. Sony DLT-VS1 is based on the cost effective DLT tape technology. Quantum and Sony joined their efforts to develop DLT-VS1 media tape cartridge, which is read/write compatible with the DLT-V4 drive and DLT-VS160 tape drives. In DLT-V4 backup tape drive, the native capacity of Sony DLT-VS1 backup tape reaches 160 GB (320 GB compressed) with high data rate of 10 Mbps (20 Mbps compressed). With DLT-VS160 tape drives, the Sony DLT-VS1 storage tape can hold 80GB native and 160GB compressed data. The data rate in native and compressed mode will be 8 Mb/s and 16 Mb/s respectively.

Part number of Sony DLT-VS1 media tape is DLTVS1-160. The readers might also be interested to know about the part numbers of other DLT-VS1 tape brands. Part number of Quantum DLT-VS1 tape is MR-V1MQN-01 and that of HP DLT-VS1 tape cartridge is C8007A. Rugged cartridge mechanism of Sony DLT-VS1 backup tape enhances its capacity to deliver excellent results in library environment. Sony DLTVS1-160 cartridge satisfies the performance expectations in a cost effective manner. Sony has used innovative calendering technique in the development of DLTVS1-160 tape cartridges. This new technology has resulted in ultra smooth recording surface, which plays a vital role in supporting high density recordings. In calendering technology, the magnetic particles are heated.

Afterwards these metal particles are applied to the tape media with the help of pressure rollers. During heavy workloads and high density recording, superior data integrity is assured by the intelligent Sony DLT-VS1 media cartridge. Calendering technique has significantly reduced the error rate. Sony has used special magnetic material called the “alloy armored metal particle” for the production of DLTVS1-160 media storage cartridge. Robust medium of DLTVS1-160 features exceptional weather resistance and enables higher output characteristics. Consistent and increased strength of output signals is necessary for high density recording. That is why Sony has reduced the thickness of DLT-VS1 tape’s media by 50 percent over the previous DLT tape generations.

Enterprise customers prefer the Sony DLT-VS1 backup tape technology, as its operational cost is much less than other tape formats. Sony DLTVS1-160 tapes are highly reliable. Their increased media performance and economical storage solutions enable the organizations to efficiently compete in the business market.

Business markets have become more competitive. You can make better proactive decisions and devise new business strategies regarding your business’s future growth on the basis of prior financial, accounting & user data. The different operating departments of the organizations (Marketing, Finance, Sales, Human Resource etc.) alter their business approach and strategy on the basis of prior data. In-time availability of data is the key to their cost effective business strategies. The litigators, clients and end-users are also interested in the enterprise records. Data retentions laws have become more rigorous over the years due to the enormous growth in data volumes.

Sony has engineered SDLT 320 drive which offers its client the ability to meet the above mentioned business challenges. Two generations of Super DLT format have been launched into the market. These SDLT tape version are SDLT-2 and SDLT-1 tape. Sony SDLT 320 represents SDLT 1 tape technology. You might be wondering that why one should adopt the SDLT tape technology. Well I am going to describe the superior and high performance features & technologies of Super DLT technology that enable you to reliably store your information. The users of SDLT tape format can upgrade their data storage system flexibly and cost efficiently. Sony SDLT 320 drive is designed for faster data rate of 32MB/s (compressed mode).

SDLT-320 drive provides its customers the speed, capacity and reliability to economically satisfy their storage needs. Uncompressed media capacity of SDLT-320 data tape has been raised to 160GB. Data compression technique of SDLT-320 tape format doubles the data rate and capacity. Other famous media manufacturing companies including IBM, Imation, HP, Dell, Maxell, Quantum and Fuji also manufacture high speed SDLT 1 tape cartridges. 35L1119, 16260, C7980A, 09W085, 183700, MRSAMCL01 and 26300001 are the respective part numbers of these Super DLT-1 tape brands.

High density recordings can increase the error rate. Therefore in order to significantly reduce the error rate during high density storage, Sony has ensured ultra smooth and thinner recording medium for its SDLT-320 tape cartridges. Smooth and thinner tape surface contribute to the greater accuracy in high density recordings. Superior tape travel stability offered by Sony SDLT-320 drive results in higher reliability and faster backup operations.

Sony has altered the SDLT 320 tape cartridge’s architecture to ensure greater data throughput in library environments. Repeated load/unload cycles do not degrade the performance level of Sony Super DLT 1 media tape. Base film of SDLT-320 data tape is made up of submicron metal particles that result in uniformly coated media surface. Sony Super DLT tape drives make the backup storage system more efficient.

High density recording has become an essential part of the backup storage demands. To meet the high density storage demands, Sony has introduced MRC (magneto resistive cluster) read/write head in its SDLT-320 tape drive. MRC head is so sensitive that any projections on the media recording surface of SDLT tape is detected as noise. SDLT is among the first tape storage format that has used the optical servo technique. This technology assists the SDLT-320 drive to reliably read/write onto the narrow data tracks.

Many organizations are now adopting more cost effective storage solutions that can retrieve and store their mission critical data at an ultra high speed with exceptional accuracy. All the leading enterprises prefer the HP data storage products due to their unparalleled media reliability, scalability, long term protection and greater bit density. Media performance and data security level of HP LTO-4 tape has been further enhanced with the inclusion of HP’s exclusive features. HP LTO4 tape cartridges feature an innovative architecture that provides more flexibility and highly efficient solutions to the users. Part number for HP LTO4 is C7974A.

The HP C7974A cartridge uses lesser space as its size has been reduced. Therefore this leaves more space, and hence more data cartridges can be stored in space-constrained storage environments. For longer useful life, Hewlett-Packard has added self diagnostic, internal head cleaning and a memory chip in each of its LTO4 tapes. Cartridge memory chip is embedded in C7974A tape, which plays an important role in elevating the efficiency of data searching, data read/write and media loading.

To prohibit un-authorized access and secure the mission critical data from theft, data encryption ability has been incorporated to the LTO4 format. Encryption feature provides superior reliability and protection to the organization’s precious recorded data. Five generations of LTO format have been introduced into the market, while the sixth LTO tape generation will be launched within 1 to 2 years. HP LTO tape cartridges of all the 5 generations of LTO are available. Part numbers of all five HP LTO tapes are listed here:

Part number C7975A, HP LTO-5 tape
Part number C7974A, HP LTO-4 tape
Part number C7973a, HP LTO-3 tape
Part number C7972A, HP LTO-2 tape
Part number C7971A, HP LTO-1 tape

HP LTO4 C7974A tape delivers tremendous 800GB uncompressed media capacity. C7974A LTO-4 is intelligently engineered by Hewlett-Packard to meet demands of workstations, servers and data centers. LTO4 tape drive can backup high data volume of 1 GB onto a single HP LTO-4 data tape within average time of 8.3 seconds. It takes just over 30 seconds to write 1 GB data to LTO-2 data tape, and 12.5 seconds to the LTO-3 storage tapes.

HP LTO-4 data tapes are available in two forms, which are WORM (write once read many) and RW (re-writeable) LTO4 tapes. HP C7974W features “write once read many” technology. Total ownership cost of HP LTO4 technology is far superior to any other comparable tape technology. HP C7974A cartridge can accommodate 1.6 Terabytes of compressed information.

Increased bit density results in higher capacity. Therefore magnetic particles of smaller size are used in the production of LTO4 media. Smaller particles make the recording surface smoother and thinner, thus elevating the bit density of LTO-4 C7974A tape. Increased bit density has helped to raise the recording tracks from 704 for LTO3, to 896 for C7974A LTO4 data tape. Thinner recording media has helped to roll longer tape reel into the C7974A LTO4 data tape whose cartridge’s size is equal to the HP LTO-3 tape.

A PCB (printed circuit board) mechanically supports electronic parts that are electrically connected with the help of conductive pathways, traces etched from copper sheets which are laminated onto a non-conductive substrate. Much of the electronic industry’s assembly, PCB design and quality control needs are set by standards which are set by the IPC organization. The main generic standard for the design of a printed circuit is IPC-2221A, regardless of the material used to manufacture the board.

Circuit boards consist of an insulator which consists of one or numerous layers of material glued into a single entity. The additional layers serve as grounding to the board.  The copper traces on the circuit board are either created by laying down individual lines mechanically or by coating the entire board in copper and stripping away the excess. By stripping away the excess, the needed printed circuits are left which connect electronic parts.

Many printed circuit board shops can help with the design process and offer high end features such as an auto router and trace optimizer which can drastically decrease the layout time. However, the best results for laying out a circuit board are achieved by at least some manual routing.

Custom PCB

These days, there are various kinds of circuit boards available in variety of materials and finishes, including FR4, FR4 High Temperature, Polyimide, GeTek, Rogers, Arlon, Nelco, Alumina, Ceramic, Bakelite, FR1, CEM1, and CEM5. The thickness of a circuit board varies based on the number of layers and can be as thin as 1.0mm (0.0394″). They can be single sided or multi-layered with cooper clad of 1-oz or higher. Although these are standard PCBs available in the market, yet you can get a customized circuit board to suit your needs. The key is to find the right PCB manufacturer to make the boards to your specifications.

A custom PCB can be made in several ways. For instance, flex circuit boards are designed to be very flexible. This allows the circuit board to be placed in positions which are otherwise not possible or to be used in wire systems. A PCB can also be used in satellites, spaceships and other machines in outer space. Rigid copper cores are designed in a way that conduct heat away from the sensitive parts and protect them in the extreme temperatures they experience.

Some circuit boards are designed with an interior conductive layer to transfer power to various parts without using extra traces. These customized needs are circuit boards that are ordered by companies to fulfill specific requirements with limited space. In addition, PCBs are also used by students and electronic hobbyists for their custom projects and applications.

Advantages

* Are cost-effective and highly reliable.
* Economical for high-volume production.
* Have color codes for different connections and are therefore easy to install.
* Mention the rating of the device which helps in their maintenance.

Disadvantages

* More layout effort.
* Higher initial cost as compared to point-to-point constructed circuits or wire-wrapped.
* Etching of circuit boards generates chemicals which are dangerous for the environment.
* Cannot be updated once it gets printed.

PCB prototypes and low volume PCBs are available in the market which are inexpensive and meet the majority of needs. Free PCB software can easily be found online these days. It is simple to use by an amateur and efficient for a professional. PCB circuit boards are designed especially for each circuit and make construction very easy.
