Default In Windows 7,  My Computer icon, Recycle Bin icon,.. not showing in desktop. And this tips will help you fix this trouble.

In Desktop background, right click and choose Personalize

In left panel, choose Change desktop icons

Check to icon name you need to show in desktop and click OK button

Ok, go to desktop and enjoy!
