Also, could some one tell me why it took AT&T (or any GSM carrier for that matter) so long to give us video calling here in the U.S. where Europe has had it for years? I’ve heard also that Europeans experience the bulk of their internet interaction on mobile devices. I think this is because they are always on the move. I could be wrong about that last item, but I doubt it.

Also 3G/HSDPA is a new thing in the states, and video calling wouldn’t go well over EDGE speed networks. Bare in mind that not a lot of providers have strong 3G coverage either.
Canada’s different though. Everywhere I go I get 3G coverage on my iPhone from Rogers Wireless

I feel like I’m the minority here! LOL Thanks to Apple’s mobile Safari I wouldn’t mind being more mobile with my web experience if they’d just unlock things like flash support, I’d use my iPod Touch for the net all the time. Also I think video calling is a great idea, and very bennefical, so why do we always have to be the last to realize this sort of thing?
