This new update provides multitouch (ie pinch-to-zoom) support for Browser, Gallery, and Maps. Google Maps is updated to 3.4 which provides starred items synchronized with maps.google.com, the ability to search suggestions from your personal maps.google.com history and night mode in Google Maps Navigation , which automatically changes your screen at night for easier viewing and driving. It also comes with Google Goggles pre-installed and improved support for 3G on T-Mobile

Update: 05/13/2009 Well it looks like Apple and Slingmedia must have come to some type of agreement recently because this Slingplayer Mobile for the iphone and itouch devices is now available for download on the sling site for the nice and usual price of .99. Unfortunately much to the moans of many, it will onlybe supported on WIFI networks and will not be available for the AT&T 3G networks as Slingmedia had initially stated it would.
