Part 15 of my detailed discussion of Windows Mobile 6.5; In this video I demonstrate an uber cool feature, HTC’s TouchFLO 3d 2.5 animated weather on my T-Mobile Touch Pro2.! To be called HTC Sense when it comes out on the HD2 superphone. Update: Here’s a link to MS announcement of 6.5 and other applications: www.microsoft.com Basically you can tell TouchFLO to run animated weather on your Today screen. You set how often you want the phone to check weather (every 15 minutes minimum) and it will check the weather at that interval. That would be cool enough, but what it does while downloading the weather is animate the conditions across the phone’s display. So far I have see “partly cloudy” which sends clouds across the entire screen; “sunny” that shoots sun rays outward from a yellow sun and “clear at night” that has a beaming moon. I can hardly wait for rain. If it is anything like my weather Easter egg (see my video) I expect there to be rain drops on my screen. And if there’s snow, Touch FLO appears capable of showing falling snow flakes. Update: I have combined into this one video all the weather conditions I have seen and also at the end I run the weather Easter egg for you. All in all a fantastic and fun little feature.

****************EDIT******************* Ok so i tired making a video on how to hack it and realise it will take way more than10 mins to explain it. takes 2 mins to do but to explain it takes a while. so here is the link with the picture guided walk through that i used to hack the phone to put my own ring tones. I shall also upload all the files you will need to mega upload so you don’t have to search. oh also the CDMA program i advise you turn off anti virus software cause it injects code so its considered a “virus” by that means but dont worry its harmless it only “injects code” into the program to make it work for free =) Walk through: www.howardforums.com Files : www.megaupload.com ********************END EDIT*********************** So I got a Samsung Slyde from Koodo and figured I will just do a little review of it, this is my first attempt at reviewing anything so bare with my repeats and umms while i try to think of what else to say. — since i know people want to know how to add custom ringtones to their koodo Samsung slide as koodo so kindly made it so that we can only download ring tones here is 2 links. one for a walk through on how to do the “hacking” don’t worry i do it all the time no problems Walk through – www.howardforums.com —- if you have problems feel free to message me and i will try to help but this is completely your doing so if you SOMEHOW manage to mess up your phone its not my fault in anyway but i HIGHLY doubt you can ruin your phone as long
